42 day delay...

Islamabad Day 6
They finally gave out the date!
The elections will be held on the 18th of February!
With this delay, it is now a certainty I won't be able to cover the elections which I had I had originally planned to do when I arrive here in Pakistan...
Well, I need a change in plans and what shall I do the rest of my days I can stay here!?

At night, President Musharraf addressed the nation in Urdu for reconciliation.

Mr. President... looking good...

He also mentioned that the Army and ranger teams will be deployed until and even after the elections. Isn't that a "state of emergency" without saying that it is? He also said that the elections should be held on January 8th as planned, but agrees to EC's decision for a delay, stressing that it was not his decision to postpone the elections.

Well... we at least finally have the date to set the target...

so why not go for some beer! cheers!!
