Leaving the race course at around 1645,
I took the Tohachi Doro route back to Kichijouji arriving at 1730.
Buying CDs and eating a bowl of Miso Ramen I left at 1830
and arrived home at 1930.
The last 2 to 3 kilometers were tough...
I bet I'm going to have muscle pains in my thighs...
My legs are already hurting...
Can I make it through tomorrow!?

競馬場は１６時４５分頃に離れて、
東八道路ルートを通って１７時半に吉祥寺に到着。
ＣＤを買って、味噌ラーメンを食べて、１８時半に出発して、
家に１９時半に到着。
最後の２～３キロはきつかったなぁ…
太ももはきっと筋肉痛になるんだろうなぁ…
もう足が痛いんだけど…
明日乗り切れるかなぁ！？

P.S.
After I took a long hot bath, I witnessed another historical moment in sports (though I found out it was a recorded broadcast later on).

a three-run homer with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th clinched the team to a World Championship challenge.
the Tigers overseas is so successful... and not ours in this nation...
and they swept the A's, my favorite team in the AL, as they were the last team I saw that swept the World Series in 1989 when I was living in the Bay Area.
a little bit envious... no, quite envious perhaps...

追伸
長い熱い風呂に入った後、またスポーツで歴史的な瞬間を見ることに（録画中継だったことは後から知ったんだけど）。
写真：９回裏２アウトで出たスリーランがチームのワールドシリーズ出場を決めた。
海外のタイガースは大成功だ…国内の我々のはダメだけど…
それに４タテしたのはエーズだ。アメリカンリーグでは最も好きなチームだ。ベイエリアに住んでいた１９８９年にワールドシリーズを４タテで勝った最後のチームだしね。
少しだけ羨ましい…いや、かなり羨ましいかも…

　５戦なら３戦３勝で決めること。
　日本なら、４タテとか３タテって言うね。
　日本に帰ってきて、「４タテ」って
　何を言ってるのかなと思ったことがある。
　やっぱりアメリカの野球やＮＦＬを
　英語で聞いてても、知らない専門用語
　（特にキャスターが使う）がよく出てくる。
　やっぱし、外国暮らしから長く離れていると
　そういうところから、英語力の低下を感じるな。
　逆に日本のスポーツ用語はかなり詳しく
　なってしまったが…。
