And in the evening, the coup de grace striked as flash news about Iraq's most-wanted Zarqawi being killed by the Americans jumped in.
My story related to the World Cup was completely shoved away...
No time to whine about this misfortune... this is the world I earn my money...

きょうは…殺人エレベーターの話でニュースは埋まっていた。エレベーター死亡事故を巡って昨日、警察がスイスのエレベーター会社を捜索したからだ。
もう一つの重要項目は秋田の事件だった。３３歳の容疑者が罪のない男の子を殺したと打ち明けたからだ。
そして夕方に、とどめの一撃が。イラクで一番のお尋ね者のザルカウィが米軍に殺されたという速報が入ってきた。
俺のワールドカップ関連のネタは完全に飛ばされた…。
この不運に文句を言ってるヒマも無い…こういう世界で俺は稼いでるんだ…
