Yes! Derby Week!

I know it's gonna be a busy and tough week, still being worried if I can nail a story I'm told to cover. And I came up empty today... a bad way to start a week...

BUT it's still Derby Week!

Just like last year I must start my investigation to find the culprit who will snatch the trophy!
There's so many suspects... I must narrow it down to one by Sunday!

Of course, devoting all my energy into work, I only have limited time late at night to do my considerations...

そう！ダービーウィークだ！
忙しくてタフな１週間になると分かってる。取材するように言われているネタを仕留められるか不安が残るだけに。きょうは成果がなかった…週を始めるのにはあまり良くない感じ…。

　　　　　　　シックスセンス（皐月賞２着）

Horses coming straight from the Satsuki Sho and the winner of Kyoto Shimbun Cup have improved the data. So Meisho Samson who won the Satsuki Sho (http://hide3diary.blogspot.com/2006/04/not-my-day.html) could well be the most likely. But colts that finished better than 6th still have a chance. Dream Passport, Fusaichi Junk, Admire Moon, Fusaichi Richard, Sakura Mega Wonder still are probable. And also the Aoba Sho winner Admire Main and Kyoto Shimbun Cup winner Toho Alan still are on stage. And Logic still earns the right to be there finishing off my favorite Richard on the NHK Mile Cup, a race that fosters two Derby winners in the past.
What about Maruka Shenck who was invincible before breaking a leg and just made it by the running the Kyoto Shimbun Cup and finishing fifth with a remarkable 33.0 sec. run the last 3 furlongs? Too bad... only winners at the race have done well... datawise he's a goner!

皐月賞から直行の馬と京都新聞杯の勝馬がデータを良くした。だから皐月賞を勝ったメイショウサムソン(http://hide3diary.blogspot.com/2006/04/not-my-day.html)は最も有力になりうる。でも６着以上に入った馬もチャンスがある。ドリームパスポート、フサイチジャンク、アドマイヤムーン、フサイチリシャール、サクラメガワンダーは可能性がある。それに青葉賞勝馬のアドマイヤメインと京都新聞杯勝馬のトーホウアランが残る。そして過去に２頭のダービー馬を育てたＮＨＫマイルカップで俺の大好きなリシャールを抑えたロジックもここに残る権利がある。
足を折る前は無敵で、京都新聞杯でラスト３ハロンを注目すべき３３．０秒で走り５着に入って間に合ったマルカシェンクはどうだろう？残念だが…このレースでは勝った馬しか良い成績を残してない…データ的には切りだね！
