Hoping for the best!

タイトル：最良の結果を期待して！

A day at work, though it was really a day off for me as I'm in for work tomorrow.
(you get a day off on weekdays when you're assigned to work on weekends)
But rarely do I get a chance to skip a day on weekdays, so the best I could do was going home a little early...


eating okonomiyaki (Japanese style pizza) and yakisoba (fried noodles with sause) for dinner with my colleague!
nice casual food you get to cook for yourself at restaurants with such services...
you should eat these once in a while to see how well you can cook!!
(no, I'm a real bad cook... I never cook at home... so at least...)

きょうは仕事。あした仕事が入ってるから、本当は休みだったんだけど。
（週末に仕事を当てられているときは平日に休みをもらえる）
でも平日に休んじゃうチャンスなんかなかなかあるもんじゃない。だから、せめて早めに帰るようにしたんだ…。

専門店では自分で焼いて食べられるいい感じの庶民的な食い物…
自分がどれだけ料理ができるか見るために時々食べた方がいいよね！！
（いや、俺って本当に料理が下手くそなんだ…家で絶対料理しないし…だからせめて…）

I was home in time to watch one of my favorite baseball player's program on the air tonight...

at the right timing, he was named the MVP of the Central League today.
a man I greatly admire... yeah, I really want to be a fighter like him!

My hopes of the Tigers winning the pennant and of course the championship Nippon Series next year has grown even stronger.
Yeah, they'll do it for us!
If we keep on believing...
(I hope Mr. Valentine will stay as Marines' head coach, because they're gonna get it next year!!)

今夜放送の大好きな野球選手の番組に何とか間に合うよう帰宅できた…。
写真：良いタイミングで、きょうその選手はセ・リーグの最優秀選手に選ばれていた。
かなり尊敬する男ですね…そうやね、マジでこの人みたいな戦う男になりたいですね！

タイガースがペナントを勝ち取って、勿論、日本シリーズを勝つことへの期待がさらに強くなりましたね。
そうや、俺たちのためにやってくれるって！
信じ続けたらね…。
（バレンタインさんもマリーンズの監督のままでいてほしいね。だから来年は見てろよ！！）

　金本アニキのＭＶＰ受賞は本当に嬉しい。
　みんな知ってると思いますが、
　MVPはMost Valuable Playerの略。
　日本では、そのままＭＶＰで通用するから
　実は何の略が知らない人もいるかも…。
　ちなみにVIPはVery Important Person
　これもみんな知ってるかな…。
　でも日本では「ビップ」って言ってるから
　これも略だって知らない人もいるかも…。
　ちなみ英語ではそのまま「ヴイ・アイ・ピー」
　と言います。「ビップ」とは言いませんので
　注意を。げ。話がそれた…。ま、いいや。
