Suzuka Mambo the 13th favorite horse completing an upset after an 3 minute 16 second run

My body was tired enough for me to lay dead till an hour past noon.
Went to Saitama again to visit my friend in a hospital. And as usual we were taking our minds off from all the bitter reality of life to bet on horses. For the main race, the Emperor's Prize at Kyoto, I picked five horses for the quinella. That's the Plenty, My Sole Sound, Silk Famous, Hishi Miracle and Suzuka Mambo.
It was so regrettable that the 13th favorite Suzuka Mambo cut through bunches of horses to win the race splendidly, but the other four horses ended up in 10th, 8th, 18th, 16th place respectively. The 2nd place horse was the 14th favorite and the quinella payed over 85000 yen per 100 yen bet. And I had bets on the winner!! Always sorry after the event's over...
I hope I didn't keep bad company to my hospitalized friend as we both blew up our days worth of salary... Well, I can at least change my fed up brain to another new week. Don't wanna rush into another Monday feeling gloomy. Whether it's a win or a loss, the weekend pastime helps me renew myself to fight for another challenge in work!!

身体が疲れ果てたため、午後１時まで死んでた。
友人を訪ねるため、また埼玉に出掛けた。またいつも通り、人生の辛い現実から頭の中を切り替えて、馬に賭けた。京都で行われたメーンレースの天皇賞では馬連で５頭の馬を指名。ザッツザプレンティ、マイソールサウンド、シルクフェイマス、ヒシミラクル、スズカマンボだ。
悔 やまれたのは、１３番人気のスズカマンボが何頭もの馬をなでぎって鮮やかにレースを勝ったものの、他の４頭がそれぞれ１０着、８着、１８着、１６着に終 わったことだ。２着の馬は１４番人気で、馬連は８万５千円馬券に。うー。３連単は１９０万円馬券になった。すっげー！！勝ち馬に賭けてたのに！！いつも終 わった後に後悔するんだよなぁ…。
お互い数日分の給料がぶっとび、病院にいる友人には悪いことをしちゃったなぁと思った…。まぁ、これで疲れた頭の中を入れ替えて、新しい週に向かうことができる。暗い気持ちのまま、月曜日になだれ込みたくない。勝とうが負けようが、この週末の気晴らしは、改めて仕事に挑む力を付けてくれるわ！！

　keep companyは付き合うこと。まぁ、「一緒に悪いことをしてる」
　っていう感じの訳がいいのかなぁって。
