I listened to the radio live then minutes later I can enjoy the video on the official site...
Vodka was only lengths away from victory...
In Chukyo Race Course the second JRA Grade One race was going to be run, and I chose two Fuji Kiseki colts as winners for the quinella ticket.
You wouldn’t believe it, but...

the only two Fuji Kiseki colts finished first and second in the Takamatsunomiya Kinen (GI)! Fine Grain the winner and Kinshasa no Kiseki the runner up!
I won quite a prize today! “Kiseki” means a “miracle” in Japanese and I think there was something that connected the two miracles in the Middle East and the Far East!
(PS: it was too bad Fusaichi Richard had to finish his career as he injured his leg in this race and was announced his retirement... he finished a close 7th in the race)
It was starting to rain when I headed to the night shift… Like yesterday, I felt a little sorry for those folks trying to enjoy the beautiful flowers!

some elders were enjoying the trees by the river...

beautiful ones near the Kumano Shrine in Shinjuku Central Park...
I only had a minute to enjoy these cherry blossoms today!
