Don't wanna be a bystander...

First overnight duty at my new job. Following up on the Minneapolis bridge collapse catastrophe, I worked through the wire agencies and made foriegn calls. I finally felt like being a correspondent of the international news section, but my heart did not leap up as I felt like a bystander rather than a reporter. I know I'm the one at fault, because it's solely up to me to try to draw near the sources of information with all I've got... my language abilities with the phones and wires.

Well anyways, I'm so tired. I know I hadn't recovered from the fatigue I'd accumulated from the Kashiwazaki trip, To be able to accomplish something I better get some rest and get in shape to fight. May this weekend help me do so!

Last night, I found out where I will be in charged of.

Asia and Europe! (to be accurate: I will be mainly be in charged of Asia not including China, Korea, the Middle East and Russia and will also cover "the Pacific" which is not included in the map above and only at a supportive role with Europe)

I'm not familiar at all with these areas and I have to learn a lot. But well... I like learning and absorbing new information, so it's quite ideal I get these areas to follow up on!
